I started out with just overall silhouettes, focusing on the lengths of the body (long or short waits, long or short legs). I also tried out different jacket shapes, long or short.
I moved on the the face a little, trying different nose shapes, and which makes her look more "wild".
Face Silhouettes
I tried out different face shapes, mainly focusing on the profile sideview to get an interesting shape. I looked up different short hair styles to study them. I really want my character to be african amercian (and I'm really trying hard to stir away from the generic stereotypes of africans). I mainly focused on how the faces look. I want to keep the short hair as it makes her look more like a rebel.
I noticed that african americans have more wider jaws and bigger noses and lips.
I tried out some more body silhouttes, matching the faces I have studied with different outfits and body shapes. I am mainly keeping the wider shoulders, long legs, and short waist. I think I will get rid of the short ponytail at the back. I am liking the short curly hair to the side, it looks more "modern" and stylish.
I decided to make her look more "sporty", making her a more strong female character. I am going to explore more sports clothes on her.
Body Silhouettes
Trying out some more outfits. I like the hoodie singlet, makes her look more masculine. I think the sports dress doesn't match, makes her look more like a wanna-be. I am definable liking the sport tights on her.
